Most of the men’s dream wardrobe attains different sorts of suits for various occasions. Suits are considered to be the trademark of alpha male personality.
There are generally different types of suiting styles but here we are going to discuss mainly between two of them which are professional Suits & Tuxedoes.
Where professional suits are built to define your professionalism, the tuxedoes are built to define your style statement in events like marriages or parties, etc.
The basic difference between a tuxedo and a professional suit is that tuxedos have silk details—silk-faced lapels, buttons made of silk fabric and a silk side-stripe down the pant leg—suits do not. Modern tuxedos often limit the use of silk to a thin trim on the lapels and a skinny stripe down the pant leg, but this is still considered a tuxedo. On a suit, the jacket, lapel, and pants all consist of the same material. Alternately of satin buttons, a suit would usually have bone, fabric, or plastic-covered buttons.
It’s important to note that, more than just the basic physical differences, a tuxedo iterates a different message than a suit does. A tuxedo is like that exquisite wine you only take on special events whereas a suit is that cup of coffee you take every day.
A lot of people wear suits every day. Regardless of whether you do or not, it just defines professionalism. You can go to the supermarket store wearing a suit and nobody will think it’s strange at all.
Now the question arises,
Should you choose to wear a suit for your wedding or a party, for instance, there is a strong chance that others in attendance will also be wearing suits? And it isn’t their wedding day.
The point of wearing a tuxedo isn’t just to dress up and look nice. The point is to memorialize a special occasion by wearing something special that you wouldn’t wear anywhere else. Your tuxedo should define that, “This moment is special to me.” That’s the point of it. And that’s why, even if you look perfect in a suit and even if you rarely if ever dress up in either, the two ensembles just aren’t equal for a truly special occasion.
